Zoe Badwi only Australian act in ARIA top 10 singles

AUSTRALIAN singer Zoe Badwi has just hung onto a place in the singles chart this week with her Freefallin' slipping from ninth to 10th.

The dance diva and former singer with the Sirens skyrocketed onto the chart last week after her APRA-nominated hit single jumped from 18th into the top 10. Rihanna's Only Girl (In the World) returns to number one - the same place as in Canada.

Elsewhere, other Aussies were valiantly holding onto their hard-earned places on the charts.

Kasey Chambers popularity doesn't seem to be waning, with her sixth-studio album Little Bird enjoying yet another week at the top of the country album chart.

John Williamson and Adam Harvey - neither strangers to success on the country chart - have both experienced a surge in the ratings, jumping from 15th to 7th and 13th to 8th रेस्पेक्टिवेली

After debuting at number two on the album chart last week, Aussie singing icon John Farnham's new album Jack has slipped one place this week.

Brother-and-sister folk duo Angus and Julia Stone, whose second studio album Down The Way has now spent months in the top 10, saw their popularity spike once again with a slight hike from ninth to sixth place.

Kings of Leon's Come Around Sundown remains the top-selling album, as it does in New Zealand, the UK and Canada.
